I love this deli, the sandwiches, pasta, desserts and even wine are so good. They have daily specials, would recommend order ahead during lunch time to avoid the wait.

I enjoyed their sandwiches - both hot and cold. Definitely try it out. Only wish they opened on Sundays

My favorite little Italian shop around. Never had a sandwich from here that I didn't like. Padua is a special little Italian market that is elegantly designed. I love everything about Padua just based off of the sandwiches, market, and design and after so many visits I haven't even tried the pasta yet. Once I get to that I'll update my review. Parking is a bit of trouble here but it's never that bad.

So far I've been coming in every single week this past month. I basically buy all the sandwich meats, cheese, and bread needed for my kids' lunch. You truly cannot find higher quality food in Upland and i love supporting small businesses. Regarding complaints about the price, did you think you just walked into stater bros? Please do not mislead readers because this place is authentic and pride themselves with the quality they serve.

Fairly small and cozy italian store/restaurant My girlfriend and I were craving italian sandwiches and we got exactly what we were looking for and more. Ordered the hot roast beef sandwich and prosciutto di parma, respectively, and we were very surprised by the size of the small sandwiches. Staff were incredibly kind and very welcoming despite being close to closing. P.S. - Parking lot is small, be prepared to find parking somewhere else.

A sandwich is a sandwich is a sandwich. Most of the time this is the case. Here at the Padua Pasta Makers aka the Downtown Upland Italian Market they know Italian cold cuts and bread. These are the benchmarks that a great sandwich is measured by. Here the standards are high and so is the watermark. They have a variety of Italian meats and like a master carpenter, dare I say Gepetto, they use their materials to build a great sandwich. Today I ordered the Padua Special and it was truly the work of a master. It's on par with the Grandpa Joe at Claros. Verdict:

Fresh pasta. YES please. Been here a few times. Tried some new things upon this visit. The calzone is huge definitely shareable. Or have some now and parcel some up for later at your leisure. Nice golden and crisp dough shell. No soggy bottoms here. Giant meatballs inside with mozzarella cheese and a nice dipping sauce with hints of wine. Lasagna was quite tasty with that little ball of happiness garlic bread bun. What a pleasant surprise. I would definitely take some of those to go. Bright and airy interior. Limited open seating areas if you're able to snag a spot. Luckily we went while it wasn't crowded. Enjoyed the bright and sunny winter day lol. Assorted filled raviolis by the pound, soups, fresh bread, sausage, meat selections, olive oils, dips, cold pasta salad, manicotti, fettuccine Alfredo, cannolis, cookies. Just to name a few items to try. Great food for parties!
